Dr. Meghan Simoneaux Richard is now the owner and head of Ville Platte Vet Clinic and she is without a doubt the absolute best caregiver any pet parent could wish for. I recently had to say goodbye to my baby boy of 15 years due to complications from diabetes, and the entire staff were so incredibly supportive and caring and compassionate. After I received my baby’s ashes a week later, I also received a handwritten card in the mail from the clinic signed by everyone in the office and inside the card was a small ziplock bag containing a locket of my dog’s hair. They are awesome! Worked my big dog in without hesitation for a non life threatening emergency. Sent us home with antibiotics and pain management for him(my experience has been with other vets that pain meds were scoffed at, he's just a dog)

This is hands down the best vet around. Super affordable and they always throw in extra stuff. My puppy went in for his first visit for shots and the dr threw in free worm/ flee meds and even clipped his nails for free. They are so nice and always work with you on prices. I have been using them for over 10 years and it is the only vet my family uses. Doc saved 3 of our animals from parvo even one with only a 15 percent chance of living.
