After moving to Louisiana, I've been looking for a good place for a perm and cut when searching I came upon Rock Barber and Beauty Salon. Once coming in I was greeted really kindly from Rocky, after I was washed for my perm and results from the grand total of the perm was a 10/10. The haircut I asked from Rocky was a 10/10 he's the best barber I've found here since moving he's kind and takes time and effort in his work.

My husband found Rock when looking for a new place for a haircut. I have had a few hairdressers since moving to New Orleans. I loved them, as people, but had a hard time getting what I wanted. And in Mid City and on Magazine St, I paid top dollar to be somewhat disappointed. Once,going to Rock's with my husband, I met Lynn. I asked could she help me with warmer tones and some layers. She assured me she could. When I went back, she took time to figure out what I was trying to describe. Of course, I'm not great at explaining but mostly I didn't want flat, ash colored hair To match my pale white ash colored old skin! I wasn't sure if I needed lowlights... read full review

Very kind people that do a very good job. Do yourself a favor and strike up a conversation! If you don’t feel up to that, they won’t push you. If I was living here any longer, I’d definitely be back. But I’m leaving soon, so instead of giving good business, I’ll leave great review!
