I found my favorite nail salon in Slidell. My usual nail tech is in New Orleans and is out on maternity leave and I wanted somewhere closer and I tried some nail salons around town aanndd I haven't been impressed. SO HAPPY I found Star Nails. LOVED the way my nails look. Simple one color dip, almond shaped nails but she actually like work work on my nails (just like my old nail tech). I put on tips and she took her time, without being slow, on the shape and made sure the side of my finger is not stuck on the nail. Some places don't even look/fix that. Very quiet. The owner and some of the workers don’t talk much but I’m quiet too so I don’t mind. If I have a design that’s simple, they do a great job executing it. My mother and I came around 6:30ish and they worked on my ombré acrylic nails until after 7. But it wasn’t rushed at all! ? they were so sweet.Services: Acrylic nails

Chanel & her staff are awesome! I often get a gel manicure & a pedicure! Love the outcome every time I leave! They get pretty busy so I try to call before heading there to determine the wait time! They do take appointments too! If you live in Slidell, I recommend you give them a try!
