These people are highly trained and very professional. If you need a great group to treat your babies they are the ones you need to see. Everyone was exceptional nice. They are completely satisfied with the outstanding care their fur baby received. The veterinarian and tech explained how to properly give their pup all her medicine. The cost was very reasonable. They do not have enough positive things to say about this office and staff. They brought their cat in thinking he was a goner and the vet not only with super short notice but with so much love & care, allowed them to walk out with their baby. Dr. Firmin is a God send. You and your staff could not be more pleasurable and knowledgeable. Thank you for everything. And thank you for absolutely going above & beyond to save their baby.
Abby has been a client at Slidell Vet. since she was able to come home. She was extremely sick and I called for an appointment and they got me in right away. She had to stay with them all day, but they took such great care of her and didn’t mind that I called often to check on her. I was also able to pick her up and bring her home from the night. I took her back the next day, but they didn’t have to keep her that day as her x-rays were clear. They were not only concerned for her but also for me. The entire staff is kind, dedicated, caring and supportive. I would not go anywhere else.
My 10yr old kitty is petrified to visit the vet office. She had not been in 3 yrs. I found out my veterinarian, Dr. Blaine Firmin at Slidell Veterinary, makes house calls once a month. I set it up and all I had to do was get her in bathroom on visit day. The doctor and Blake showed up as scheduled and the visit only took minimal time. No sedation, no heavy gloves, no bites on me. It was the best experience my baby could have had. She got her exam and shots in the comfort of her home and Mom did not have to stress about getting this done. I highly recommend Dr. Firmin and Slidell Veterinary Clinic.
Very friendly and helpful staff and doctors. My daughter was dog sitting and we noticed his eye was hurt so I took him there to have him checked out. They were booked but still fit me in to see him. Everything was fine just had to give him some antibiotics and love. I was so grateful for the staff for fitting me in on a tight schedule. They definitely deserve good praise for the work they do and how they are.
