I went for a skin checkup. They found a suspicious area. The doctors and the staff are very thorough. They explained every step of the process to me. They allowed me to pick and choose the option of treatment that I preferred to have done.Because I indeed was positive on the biopsy, and it was basal cell carcinoma.It was a lengthy process of procedures. But the final outcome was so worth it. The staff was friendly and kind despite the fact that they were extremely busy! Dr. Andrea did a biopsy on two spots. Let me say for the record that besides a little burning from the shot, it was painless. That didn't stop me from almost passing out on her though. It was quite embarrassing and she was insanely kind and assured me everything was okay. She brought me water and offered me sweet tea if I needed some sugar. She had a very caring disposition and didn't act inconvenienced by me at all. I look forward to my follow up appt.

Look, after having over 76 surgeries and countless misdiagnosis', it be subtle for me to say I've learned what to look for in a doctor (my opinion of course). Doctors need to be smart and confident, without holding a sense of superiority. Dr. Perdomo is such an awesome doctor, not just with knowledge, but understanding of how to interact with people and truly relay the situation with honesty, thoroughness, and confidence. The staff is superb. I wish I knew the receptionists name, she's amazing. Not to mention, these people will work you in at last second,if it's possible.
