Dr. Zegar was excellent, professional, clear in communication, and made the eye exam easy to understand from start to finish.
However, my experience with the front desk staff, specifically a woman named Deanie, was disappointing. While I browsed for glasses, she watched me from her desk and made multiple comments about which frames I should or shouldn’t be looking at, based on my insurance. Despite me stating that I was open to paying out of pocket, she continued discouraging me from looking at certain racks...I wonder, why?

my whole family goes to see this doctor -if your looking for excellent eye care exam this is where to go...he cares deeply about your eye care and makes it his mission to do just that.. you could go to those awful places that gives you cheap eye care but this is your vision and your ability to see in the future. .and maybe instead about complaining about the cost you should invest in better eye care health insurance.... your eyes are more important then being penny wise and dollar foolish.. my vision was saved and yes I was going blind but it was caught in time the whole Johnson family
I’m a new patient here and I highly recommend. Dr Zegar was very welcoming and explained everything to me. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helped me find the perfect glasses!
