I have been coming to this facility since 1992. Back in the late '90s I had some issues here and then moved my primary care to Texarkana. I have since gone to several specialty clinics here at Overton Brooks and of course my pharmacy. Every time I've needed refills it is super simple and the people on the phone have been fantastic. I have called the nurse helpline from everything when I had massive back injury before my surgery, motorcycle accident, and just feeling sick the nurse hotline has always been a+, helpful, compassionate, and sometimes just a positive person helping you through a situation. I am a former United States Marine with combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. I have been exposed to a lot of physically challenging scenarios, which later on in life was a reflection on my physical health and when I needed help the VA was there! I am blown away with how fast and professional the VA staff is! White team 5 with PA Daniels went above and beyond to accommodate me (I lost my appointment dates due to a delayed plane flight), and they fought to get me the next earliest dates for my appointments (which was only a few days apart) and helped to arrange for my much-needed lower back surgery (L5S1 blown-out disk). The only reason I have the VA five stars is because of the Emergency Room staff . Hands down the best staff. Professional , fast courteous and show a generous commitment and dedication to patient. Also the Ultrasound tech on the four floor she is priceless very courteous and professional. This is the type of people that should be working for Veterans .
