About Scott Nails
Scott Nails is a nail salon that offers a range of services, including pedicures and manicures. The business is known for its mixed reviews, with some customers reporting positive experiences and others expressing concerns. While some customers have praised the salon's efficiency, with staff working quickly and ensuring minimal waiting times, others have had less satisfactory visits. One customer noted that the gentleman who performed their pedicure was great, but the young lady who did their nails was less engaged, cutting them and leading to an infection. Another customer, visiting with their daughter, highlighted concerns about the strong acetone smell within the salon, which could be problematic for those with respiratory issues. Additionally, they reported that their daughter, who has sensory needs and is on the autism spectrum, faced some challenges, with staff members speaking about her loudly in Vietnamese and not providing the level of understanding and accommodation she required. Despite these issues, the customer noted that the young man who worked on their daughter's feet did a good job and interacted with her well. However, the experience overall left the customer feeling that more education and awareness around autism and sensory needs would be beneficial for the salon's staff. In conclusion, while Scott Nails offers a range of services, the customer experience can vary, and the salon may benefit from improving its staff training and awareness of diverse customer needs.
Very shady, they will quote you one price over the phone and whenever you come in the salon and ask for the exact word for word service request..its magically double the price
This has become a thing in all of their salons....
I come here every so often because it’s nearby and somewhat affordable. I’ll be real, it’s a hit or miss. The gentleman who did my pedicure was great, but the young lady who did my nails didn’t really speak to me and cut me, leading to an infection; she seemed rushed.
Following up as my daughter asked me to. We did not experience a long wait and one or 2 of the staff were very professional there. However, I have been asked to address the following: There was a strong acetone smell, we had never smelt fumes this strong at a nail place before. Perhaps more ventilation is needed. This could be especially problematic for anyone who has dealt with breathing issues (whether asthma or anything else).
My daughter wanted me to address that while the young man who did her feet did a good job and interacted with her, others just judged and talked about her loudly in Vietnamese. This occurred even after I explained sensory things...read full review
