“They saved my life. Out of 3 nurses 2 were my angels. Listen, not everyone is for everyone. I had one who almost made me quick...I didnt want to look back after leaving in tears from being talked down at. I was so hurt. I THOUGHT thats it...but my beautiful friend works in the front desk. She reached out and I explained my experience. And she explained they have many nurses...and she can set me up with another. I had a beautiful human who helped me pass the hump but she left to Cali and I was devestated...THEN I was assigned to Kadie...what an amazing human and nurse. Her knowledge is amazing and I felt like we clicked. Even if she was getting on to me about a bad habit, she did so in a way that challenged me rather than belittle. And because of her i was able to GET OFF insullin. Until I was kicked down with an illness...and guess what, she was on IT...SHE KNEW what the specialist nurse didnt understand...and explained it correctly. We are back on the journey again...and I dont feel alone because not only Kadie...BUT THE WHOLE TEAM at the diabetes care center...have made me feel empowered. The lab, the nutritionist, the nurses checking us in...and listening to our rants. Lol. Thank you to the diabetes care center...I know ill make it through this as well. P.S. they also educated my mother and it has been amazing for the both of us. Point is, dont let one experience stop you from going back, ask for another nurse...“
