My family and I had a great time getting to see my baby! Sarah was super friendly and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to. I loved the photo area, it was so cute for family photos! The only con I have is that upon arrival I followed instructions and texted when I was at the locked back door. I didn't get a text back or hear anything until after my appointment time was scheduled. I completely understand since there was another family doing an ultrasound at that moment, but since it was my first time here I was starting to worry.
Sarah was so helpful. I wanted to get an ultrasound very early in the pregnancy, which was also around the holidays. She was great with helping me get appointments scheduled. She was also really sweet and took the time to explain what we were seeing. Highly recommend!
I very much recommend going to First Look Ultrasound, especially if you're not going to be getting any third trimester ultrasounds. It's an incredible way to get to see your little one before they're born. The environment is very relaxing, the staff (Sarah in my case) was professional was VERY considerate of my needs vis a vis nausea, and she really worked hard to get us good pics of my little girl; I got an hour and a half between the first session and the makeup session and I only paid for 30 minutes. Sarah worked super hard to get good pics of my baby the first session (for a good hour or so) even though my baby very stubbornly would not remove her face from directly against my placenta, and managed to actually get some decent pics. The second session (they give you a make up session for free if your baby doesn't cooperate), she managed to get a bunch of really good shots including a great gif of my baby sticking her tongue out in the process of yawning (it's actually featured on the website right now!) Overall, it was a fantastic experience, definitely worth the money if you want to spend some time bonding with your little one (my husband LOVED this aspect of it) and get some good pics to show your baby when they're bigger.
