Buying a home generating system is a big expense. The installation requires permits, work done to code and inspections - it's not a do-it-yourself project at all. HMC did a good job for us - the salesman knew his generators, the installation (2 days) went very well and the crew happily answered the many questions I had. Every appointment was kept to the minute - which in the south is pretty impressive. With a multi-stage project like installing a Generac, you want to make sure you are dealing with a group of professionals who really know their stuff - and HMC Generators fit the bill.
We just had our Generac installed, and I have to say HMC and everyone that came to our house was very professional, polite and answered all our questions and concerns. They kept us informed with phone calls and emails during the whole time of our house being built and after. They cleaned up after themselves and that’s a plus in my books nowadays!! It’s hard to find contractors that do that these days!! The mobile Link is a game changer too. I’ve already giving family friends and neighbors their number!!
This company is the worst! Don’t buy your generators from them. I just spoke with Jamie (the Owner) and informed her that they delivered the generator about a month ago and never installed the fuel line which is preventing Atmos from installing the gas line. Dwayne told my 80 year old parents that he would install the fuel line on July 27th. But he never called to say he couldn’t install on the 27th nor to reschedule. When I spoke withJamie about the situation her response was “We’re not God!” No you are not God Jamie but could you please uphold your verbal contracts that you make with your elderly customers? To her defense, Jamie did say that she could have someone come and pick up the generator today at my elderly parents expense but she could not get someone to install the fuel line today. Not only that but she would also leave the concrete slab and my 80 year old parents would not get refunded for that either!
