Written by Donna Cheatwood:318 Construction out of West Monroe Louisiana did a construction project for us after a 100 year old red oak fell on our house flattening our car port and coming thru roof in utility room and kitchen. Jon McCartney, Matt Bonner (project manager) and Travis Lynn(superintendent) were a tremendous blessing to us during this disaster. My husband was away working and I had just had a heart surgery 3 weeks before and it was also during the heat wave and the whole end of my house was a gaping hole. When the storm blew in on June 16th 2023, it wreaked havoc on our house. It literally rained in our living room 7 places and water damage to our front 2 bedrooms. We called around for quotes and ultimately went with 318 Construction. The first hurdle was our roof. The adjuster only wanted to cover half the roof. Mathew Harvey was overseeing the roofing project. He jumped right in, talked to the adjuster and fought hard for us to get a whole new roof. Next, was the inside. We had to have new insulation, new ceilings in living room, hallway and 2 front bedrooms, with new floors in those bedrooms. Matt Bonner was overseeing this project.
