I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Minden Medical Center. From the moment I arrived until I was discharged, the care I received was outstanding. The nurses, CNAs, and the entire staff treated me with kindness, compassion, and professionalism during my recovery.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Nurse Alicia (I hope I remembered your name correctly!). Your patience, encouragement, and genuine care made such a difference during my stay. My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed as well as tubes places in both ears 2 days ago. Everyone there was so nice and helpful from check-in to discharge. Dr Smith was pleasant and easy to talk to. The hospital called yesterday to check on my daughter and to see if we had any questions. Our overall experience was great and will not hesitate to return if we need to.
I highly recommend this hospital. I had postive experiences with ALL staff I encountered including ER Dept registration for surgery & preop lab, front desk registration, laboratory, surgery dept and 2 night post-op stay in the hospital.
The only problem I encountered was the bedside call button system was not working during my stay, but the staff were very attentive checking on me very frequently.
