I'm shocked that I'm the first to review Salon Naj as its been in business for many years. It's tucked away in a little corner of Metairie behind Morning Call and next to Impastato's Restaurant. I first became a client when I followed my long time stylist Jake and his very awesome shampoo technician Robin there probably around 10 years ago. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Recently my stylist retired and instead of even looking elsewhere, I realized that the people here know me well and know my hair, which is not easy to handle. It's long, curly and frizzy and that makes it difficult to cut and style and with the man who handled it for 20 years, leaving the business I almost panicked. However I turned to Stan, who had filled in once before and he easily handled my cut and color and made me feel extremely comfortable and I am very pleased with the outcome. The salon is a little bit pricey, but certainly not unreasonable and when you're dealing with your hair which everyone sees every day, this is not the area to pinch pennies. The entire team is great and the salon is full service also offering manicures, pedicures and other beauty treatments.
