It is often the only insurer available for many people, including those with mobile homes or who have difficulty getting coverage elsewhere due to factors like credit scores. Customers appreciate that it helps them meet mortgage requirements. However, some express frustration with aspects like weekend phone service and online bill payment. There are also mixed experiences with claims payouts after hurricanes, with some feeling the funds were adequate and others stating they were insufficient. Additionally, some note that premiums can be raised after an initial inspection.
This is totally ridicules how I can't get home owners insurance except with Louisiana Citizen and they rates are so not affordable. I'm struggling with this because their price has gone up over $700 making my house payment go up tremendously. This doesn't make any since. I have not made any claims with them yet the home owner insurance is through the roof. People in my postion don't have anyone else to turn to because all the other insurance agencies have pulled out from writing in Louisiana (Iberville Parish), anything North of the I-10/I-12 corridor. If there's any other Insurance out there that can help us PLEASE?????
Payed them a 12 month premium and they say the home is vacant.
I did all their requests and they still tried to delay me and cancel my coverage.
they notify my lender of a notice of cancelation in February, but not the reinstatement from the same month?
they are trying to breed animosity. I payed their money and silly increase, and they dont do anything.
take your insurance payments and put them in a savings account that gains interest, because they will not pay out

This company is absolutely a scam. I bought a house and paid for 3 months of insurance at closing with this company. They dropped me without notice 2 months after saying it was due to underwriting issues and they are not required to refund money because of that. I did not even know my insurance dropped until a month later when my mortgage company notified me. When you try to call you get that Carla is the only one who can answer questions and she is at lunch. THEFT!!!
