We have used Doucet’s over the past couple years on several projects around our home in Maurice. Their work has always been superb! In the middle of selling our home in Maurice and moving to a new home in Lafayette, I found out I am once again fighting cancer. I had contacted August Doucet on Friday to come and give us an estimate to get some planting area additions done and some re-sodding in the back area. August showed up Saturday morning and looked at all the things I wanted done. We discussed my current health and we talked about our faith and life in general. As he was getting ready to leave he told me “we will see you Monday morning” I said well, get me the estimate so I know what I’m looking at and he held up his hand with a “0” made with his finger and said nothing !! I was so taken by his generosity and didn’t know what to say… He said he wanted to bless us for all the past business and he was so happy to be able to do this for us! Needless to say we are so grateful and so blessed by this. August, once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts! The work as usual is superb!
August Doucet is not only a great guy, but he runs his business based on his Christian values. He listens to what your vision is and helps build on that to turn it into a work of art. His crews are by far the best we have ever worked with. They go above and beyond your expectations. I have never had crews clean up your space better than when they got there every single day they are working. James and his crew did our front yard and got our fountain working better than it ever had since we installed it over 20 years ago. Ian and his crew did an amazing job on our backyard. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with any of their work. They were truly a Godsend to Dan and I both!
