This is a great school to start off your trucking experience, Saferoad trucking school. From the first time I called the ladies in the office are friendly and super helpful. They will answer all your questions and needs. The environment is positive, encouraging, and truly focused on helping each student succeed—not just in passing tests, but in becoming confident, skilled drivers.
Ronald/Ro and Steve are two of the best instructors you could ask for. They go above and beyond to make sure you understand everything, and they do it with patience, clarity, and genuine care. Their teaching styles are effective, but what really stands out is how they treat you—with respect, kindness, and that real family vibe that makes all the difference. Ronalds father stopped by and gave us some real life stories and pointers that was super helpful and appreciated. Safe Road always delivers top-notch quality. So if you want to get your CDL license safe road is your place. Hands down the best place to go in my personal opinion . Also I really like to point out the smaller classes, my class Started with just 3 of us and later in 2 more join us on the yard. So you get lots of time in the truck and time for practicing your pre trip inspection. You will not be disappointed, it was just overall an awesome experience. “Took the 14 hour course and road test with them, very relieved to find all the people I’ve talked to and got behind the wheel with at angelwood were very kind, understanding and most importantly able to remain calm even when I got a little panicked (especially with backing up). Not being jumped at helped me a lot with being able to correct my mistakes. The classroom portion was finished in one day and I got my 4 driving lessons done in about 2 weeks, then only had to wait a day to do my road test.
