To try and keep this short, I had a VA mental health appointment less than three weeks ago where I tried to, as I’ve done for years to get them to understand the severity of my problems. What I was going through, how I was feeling, and the dire need for help. Besides asking “Me” what “I” wanted to do medication wise, and making no helpful suggestions, the doctor asked me if she needed to make arrangements for an ambulance to take me to the hospital! Nurse Lindsey saw me two days ago for my first appointment. I was feeling much worse than the day of my VA appointment.
