Wow is all I can say! Our family just experienced the unexpected passing of my mother in law over the weekend and we had her transferred to Kinchen. We honestly had no previous dealings with any of the local Lafayette funeral homes and chose them from remembering seeing their name before. Well, it must have been God that put their name in our head. Eric and the gentleman named Coach that we spoke with were extremely accommodating to our needs and even came in during closed hours to facilitate our schedule as we live out of town. I would like to thank all the staff at Kinchen for their patience and guidance in helping me plan the funeral of my stepfather Corlvin Prejean.Doris,Eric,Cecil , Chris and others were amazing!He was presented in such a natural state and they were all professional yet friendly, warm and kindhearted. It is no simple task to bury your loved one . Without their constant communication and advice, I would have been lost.
