After several appointments and ignored neuro symptoms from the ER, urgent care, and my PCP, I was finally admitted to the hospital and discharged with orders to follow up with a neurologist. My diagnosis was questionable. We chose Tulane Neurosciences. Dr. Lafaye was so thorough with my case and supportive through a very scary ordeal. On my first visit with her as a hospital discharge follow up, she felt my diagnosis may not be correct and recommended that I return to the hospital. She even spoke with the Neurologist to ensure I received the care I needed. Thankfully, I ended up getting the right diagnosis of Guillian Barre and receiving the correct treatment and I am on the mend! Through my follow ups, she has been honest and supportive of my choices. She has taken the time to answer a million questions. The staff have been wonderful as well!“
