Totally pleased with Delta Sod, from first call, the ordering process and delivery was first class, very happy with my newly installed St Augustine sod, I would highly recommend Delta Sod.
Only issue I have was when I asked the delivery guy if the pallet of sod would smash my front lawn much, he stated, not to bad, which it hardly noticeable, but the three deep ruts I have from the fork lift is a different story, had I known, I could’ve easily let him keep the fork lift on the street and set only the pallet on the grass, to me, he should know what those three tires would do to my front lawn, where I put the new sod over the swimming pool area is beautiful but now...read full review
Fair prices and very helpful.. Update, 10 pallets down and they're already starting to take root. The grass was fully living throughout the pallet, not brown and dead in the middle. I'll be ordering a few more pallets in the spring if not sooner
I ordered a couple of pallets of sod from Delta Sod two summers ago to restore and level my sunken lawn. Two years later, my lawn looks awesome! The quality of the sod is excellent and the ordering and delivery service were both very professional. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of the company (besides the sod itself) is its how-to on the website for preparing, placing, and caring for the sod, which included pictures. Aside from providing good sod, as a former educator I can say they are also good teachers, drawing out of simpleton landscapers like me talents I didn't know I possessed.
