I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did—because outstanding customer service is hard to come by these days, especially when it truly matches the value of what we pay.
My experience wasn’t perfect from start to finish due to a few scheduling hiccups, but that’s actually what makes this review more meaningful. I got to see how this company handles challenges, and their integrity and commitment to quality really stood out.
For example, the sod delivery came up a bit short, and the second ordered batch didn’t meet their standards. Instead of laying it down and leaving me to notice the issue later, Legends stopped the job themselves. That spoke volumes to me—they didn’t wait for me to complain or go back and forth. They stayed in communication, returned with fresh sod in excellent condition, and made sure the job was done right.
What truly blew me away was that the owner himself came out, helped with the work, and even laid the remaining sod in areas of my yard that desperately needed it—but that I hadn’t budgeted for. He did it simply to ensure the sod didn’t go to waste. That act of kindness was so unexpected, and every time I look at that little patch of surprise grass, I think, “Wow, there’s still integrity and kindness out there.”
This kind of above-and-beyond service earned my trust. Their proactive communication and genuine care for their work were a breath of fresh air. I’ll absolutely be using them again for future projects!“

“Exterior Works LLC - These guys are great! They've been our only yard service for almost 10 years. The crew is fast and efficient. They are in and out of our large yard in about 20 min. The first several years they came every 2 weeks, but when I mentioned that I was interested in having them come more often during the summer months, they were accommodating and now they come weekly during the fast growth months and then drop to every other week in the colder months.

Probably 8 years ago, their weed eater sent a rock through my storm door and they had the glass replaced without my even realizing it had happened. More recently we had some big trees felled in the yard. What would have taken us several hours to rake, they made quick work of with their blowers!

My kids love waving at them through the glass, and they send me a day's notice before coming so I can keep my dogs in the house. They are worth every penny.“

“You can see we started with a pretty blank slate. My main concerns were privacy and drainage. They worked very hard to solve the drainage problems. They came up with a great design to give me the classic Southern garden and privacy that I wanted. The bricks they used in the walkway were bricks my Daddy had saved when he closed in the carport almost 40 years ago. That was very special and I love the designs!“
