“I've been coming here for a while and my experience has been completely different from some of the recent reviews.
This is a traditional men's barbershop, and one of the things I enjoy about it is the atmosphere. People talk openly, disagree with each other, challenge each other's opinions, joke around, and have honest conversations. It's a place where regular people interact.
I was present during the visit that seems to be the subject of a recent review, and what I personally witnessed does not match the description that was posted. Nothing about the interaction struck me as making someone uncomfortable, I remember laughing.
I also disagree with the characterization of the conversation about race. The only group that was criticized was our own, and the discussion was actually complimentary toward people from different backgrounds. Context matters, and I don't believe the conversation was represented accurately.
At the end of the day, people are free to decide whether this style of barbershop is for them. For me, it's a welcoming place with good people, good conversation, and a genuine community atmosphere. That's why I keep coming back.”
