The best cervical adjustment I have had in over 24 years on the very first visit. I almost cancelled fearing what I have experience with over 8 different chiros over the past 24 years not even attempting to do a true manipulation. Before going to him, I had looked at his age and I calculated that I have been going to chiropractors 10 years before he was even born. I really had doubts. 🥲🥲🥲 I was expecting some youngster into the look good, talk good, feel good with hocus pocus manipulations, but I was so wrong. In 50 years, I have had 14 different chiropractors. I actually scored him, he came in #4 from all my experiences; however, the top 2 had both 10 years more experience than Dr. Johnston. Sad to say I won't be around in 10 years to see where he would score given the same level of experience. I'm very pleased with his level of skill and care. I highly recommend him.
Completely professional and caring practice! From walking in and being greeted very courteously by Kimberly to the outstanding care and attention from Dr. Johnston, this office is 5 stars plus! I’m looking forward to continuing my care here!
At the beginning of April, we moved into a new home with a swimming pool. Moving in, I noticed I couldn't carry boxes and couches like I used to. Nearing 40, I attributed the shooting pain in my biceps to both way too many bicep curls and old age. Like an idiot, I "rested" my arm, thinking it would improve with time and non-use. I could not have been more wrong. As Spring progressed into Summer and we began utilizing our new swimming pool more, I found that I could not wrestle with my older kids and throw my younger kids like rag dolls without shooting pain in my left arm. This left me sad and frustrated. Recently, my loving wife of 20 years got tired of my whining and bellyaching. She said, "Just go see Shawn at Relief Plus! You want to be best friends forever with him anyway!" She's right. Who doesn't want to be BFFs with Shawn? Anyway, after three weeks of treatment, including but not limited to sending shockwaves of sound and little pointy needles into my upper forearm and what can only be described as some kind of voodoo magic, my bicep is feeling much better. In fact, today, I was able to go swimming with my kids without wincing every time they hung on my arms, pulled my beard hair, or nearly tapped me out with a rear naked choke. I even sent them flying through the air like I was 35 again. I executed with pain-free precision such classic wrestling moves as Lex Luger's torture rack, Razor Ramon's Razor's Edge, and The Undertaker's Choke-slam. It was awesome. One day, I'll be injured again. But when that day comes, I won't hesitate. I'll call Shawn at Relief Plus right away!
