We took in a pregnant stray cat on 10/18, on 10/19 Lemon saw our primary vet (Hebron Animal Hospital) who said all was well and the babies would come within the week. On 10/21 Lemon started to have diarrhea and vomiting. 10/22 at 7:30pm we called Hebron and they suggested we head to an ER. We chose GCVS and are glad we did. Great experience with the entire hospital. Front desk staffers were as kind as humans could be and put us in a room right away. Dr. Hogan was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and took care of Lemon’s (They call her La’Mon) needs immediately. Didn’t push anything on us like some of these other reviews have said. We were specifically referred to Dr. Hodge for our dogs major surgery - a large mass removal right above the eye and a skin graft. Pretty intensive with the size and location of multiple masses.
It didn’t take long to recognize why our primary vet referred us to her! During the consult she explained the surgery very well, had previous surgery photos, and it was very evident she cared about her work and took pride in what she does!
I’m a pretty protective dog mom. Any surgery or leaving my pup makes me anxious! Almost to the point I debate decisions and events to be home with my pups. So, it was a big deal that required trust for... read full review
I absolutely love this vet! Not only have they helped my cat with his chronic issue when it becomes a much bigger worry when other vets have said he would die (he just has ibd. It's treatable and in his case definitely not fatal), but the staff and doctors are so kind and willing to help. They eveb stayed late to show me how to give my little guy his b shots at home due to my work schedule. I am so grateful for them every time ?
