Based on the reviews, Lawn Squad of Northern Kentucky provides expert lawn care and pest control. The service tech, Shawn, does a very thorough job and is very pleasant. Customers loved the excellent communication about when the service would happen and the very detailed report given once completed. The detailed notes left with the invoice help when not home during the application. The emails and text messages are a great way to stay in touch, letting customers know techs are on their way. The team provides excellent service to a weed filled lawn. However, the heat has caused excessive growth of crabgrass and other weeds, so additional treatments will be needed to control them. The service tech was also respectful to the property and professional.
Finally, someone from Lawn Squad came to our doorstep after a few weeks of waiting. Though it was not very clear to me what work was done that day, we definitely noticed that the grass in our front yard looks greener already, which we appreciate.
However, our grass is getting tall now and definitely needs to be cut or trimmed. I’m just not sure if mowing/trimming is included in the service plan or when they will be coming back for the next service. Hopefully communication and scheduling updates can be improved moving forward.
Sean seemed to be very nice and was available for me to ask questions. We did discuss him aerating the whole lawn, but there were large sections of the lawn that were missed. He did mention the equipment may have broke, but the stripe of lawn closest to the road was not aerated and some large sections under the tree line in the backyard was missed as well.
Very impressed! Loved the communication about when the service would happen, did happen and the very detailed report that Shawn F gave once completed, including recommendations. Shawn was also respectful to our property and professional. We are excited to have Lawn Squad help bring our lawn back to a healthy life!
