I completed the 200 hour training with Amanda and Cara. I have been studying yoga for 40+ years and these are two of the best teachers I've ever had. They are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and careful teachers as well as delightful women. Best of all, they are constantly learning and growing, and sharing their insights.

Amanda and Cara are a dynamic duo! I completed my 300 hour at the Essence of Yoga and it was exactly the right time and exactly the right place for me. I grew as a yoga instructor, but more importantly, as a person. They will give you a firm foundation for your practice and your teaching.

I completed the one year teacher training course as a certificate student rather than as a future yoga teacher. I am a senior citizen. I do yoga and an exercise class regularly. In the year long course, I learned so much about moving safely. I cannot overstate how important this has been for me to learn strategies to protect myself from injury. I highly recommend it even if you do not wish to become a certified yoga instructor.
