Over the years, tree roots had left the flagstone walkway badly uneven, creating a significant trip hazard, and both retaining walls had settled and become an eyesore. Josh and his team completely transformed everything.
They rebuilt both retaining walls on a solid foundation that should last for decades, and they carefully removed every flagstone, installed a proper base, and meticulously reset the entire walkway. The finished project looks beautiful while preserving the character of our cabin.
Their attention to detail really stood out. When they finished, Josh even added new topsoil, seeded, and strawed the disturbed areas of the yard. After a freak downpour caused some erosion that washed away a little topsoil and exposed part of the gravel base, Josh promptly returned, repaired the damage, and took additional steps to prevent it from happening again.
