“Do not make the same mistake as me and take your child to Blended Barber Lounge in Reidland. My Momma heart is broken. I asked for a trim of my daughters bangs. A trim. Not a cut. I told the hair stylist I wanted them trimmed above her eyebrows because they have been in her eyes. I also said I liked how the ends of the bangs are longer and lead into her full length hair. I had considered cutting them myself, but I was scared I would mess them up. I truly could not have done worse than this. This was not a case of "my child got a hold of some scissors and cut her hair." Although it absolutely looks like that. I paid a business to do this. I paid someone to hack her hair 1 inch from her hairline (at the middle). These pictures are 4 days apart. Why did this lady do this to my daughter's beautiful bangs? I am so sad. I will never make this mistake again. There is nothing that can be done to fix this other than to let it grow out. It is not worth it to go back and demand my money back or cause a scene. The damage is already done. Her bangs, are gone. This also isn't a case of 'my child wouldn't sit still and messed up the cut.' She sat perfectly still. The stylist even complimented her on how still she sat and told me how so often children don't sit still during cuts. And I know you might read this and think 'why did you pay for such an awful cut?' Well I didn't really get the chance to fully look at it until after. I had been looking at the back of my daughters hair when the hair stylist finished the bangs. Then I got my daughter out of the chair, we paid, and we left. I tried looking at it as we were outside and thought it was a little short, but the wind was blowing so maybe it wasn't *that short*. Then she fell asleep in the car and her head was tilted to the side in her carseat so I thought it just looked short because of the angle. Once we got home and she was awake and I really started looking at it, that's when I came to the awful realization of how short it really was.“

The place is simple and there's a really laid back vibe. It's a change of pace from the last place I was seeing Shelly at, but it's a welcomed change. Quaint, simple, but cute. They also have complimentary coffee and they had little clementines available next to the coffee, as well. The station is nice and roomy so it made it much easier and quicker for Shelly to get to the products she used and that was nice. I'm very happy with my first visit.
