Century Property Management is a rental company that manages apartments. Some tenants experienced delays in viewing apartments and updates on maintenance issues, especially if problems were not urgent. Rent must be paid before the due date, as payments are processed early in the morning. Overall, it is considered a good place to rent, but tenants noted some issues with communication and maintenance responsiveness.
My 73 year old father has been there for 10 months and he received a letter stating they will not be renewing his lease due to them taking back the unit and he will have to vacate. There was no offer of another apartment, no help at all and when I asked about the legality of the situation I was told to get out the lease and read it in a rude manner. This company is shady and I don't recommend renting from them!
Was told they won’t take anyone with a prior misdemeanor conviction unless it’s a DUI. In my opinion a DUI is worse than many other crimes. Anywhere else will only turn down felons. I rented from them in the past and they were a lot better than it seems. This company blows, and definitely has ignorant priorities when it comes to their background checks. Drink and drive folks, don’t worry Century will rent to you. Ridiculous.
What a terrible company of scheming money grubbing individuals who have no care for anyone. Put up a 5 day Notice to Vacate the day after I paid rent stating that I had dog and another person living with me. My girlfriend and her service animal would come over often, and according to the lease could stay for 14 consecutive days. This incident occurred before the 14 consecutive days were up. They then proceeded to take a rent payment on the 2nd before kicking me out the 3rd and taking the deposit as well.
