I’ve read some of the more critical reviews, and while everyone’s experience is their own, they don’t reflect mine. A $10 gratuity on a $170 service doesn’t strike me as unreasonable. That’s roughly an 11% tip, which I would consider quite low. I was surprised to see that become a source of complaint. As for the lack of an elevator, many businesses in St. Matthews occupy older buildings. That’s simply part of the neighborhood’s character, not a reflection of the quality of the massage.
