I thought I needed a new zipper on an expensive winter coat. This gentleman was recommended and I took my coat to him. He spoke to me the whole time he looked at the zipper, got a new part out that runs up and down, replaced the one on my coat and charged me $15! Fixed it that quick, thank you very much!
We have known the owner (Phan) of this shop for over twenty years. My family and friends have taken countless pairs of shoes and other items to him for repair. He will only accept a repair if he knows for certain it can be done to his exacting standards. So if you need a new sole on any shoe, it will be returned to you looking brand new. This is true whether you give him a dressy pair of heels, a work boot, or a Johnston and Murphy loafer. Phan also does repairs on ladies handbags, coats and even broken zippers on luggage. Center Shoe Repair was forced to move from its original spot in the Newport, KY. shopping center next door to Crunch Fitness. Now he can be found in the same center, but on the upper level. Look for him on the far end of the strip of shops that include Open Box Outlet, Dollar General, and X Nails (still part of Newport Shopping Center.) It will be well worth your time!
Feeling pretty fortunate to have our shoe repair guru up in the Newport Shopping Center as part of our community. Not only does he repair shoes and boots, but add on luggage, zipper replacements, belts, buckles, and today……..the handle on my cello case! He is a master at his craft.
