About Walmart Supercenter
Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of products, including electronics, furniture, toys, clothing, baby gear, and video games. Customers often praise the store for its clean environment and convenient curbside pickup service. The produce is always fresh, and the deli caters to individual preferences, promising to get items if they are not available. The store also features a pharmacy, including a vision center with professional staff providing eye exams, which customers highly recommend. The friendly and helpful staff are often highlighted as a positive aspect. While some shoppers have experienced challenges with damaged items during shipment or availability issues for curbside pickup due to high demand, they generally remain satisfied with the shopping experience. Some customers noted that the aisles are often crowded and space is limited, especially when stocking or picking up grocery orders. The lawn and garden section is considered lacking, but overall, the store is regarded as not bad for a smaller Walmart. Customers appreciate the manned checkouts, which make shopping more convenient. However, some found it difficult to find assistance at times, and there have been mentions of mismatched prices between the app and in-store items, leading to frustration. The self-checkout option has also been a challenge for some customers with disabilities. Despite these issues, the helpful and cheerful staff consistently enhance the shopping experience.
Shelves bare, unrecovered. I had to go to two different stores to try and get all that i needed but still couldn't get everything that I needed. A lot of people standing around and I had to wait at the self checkout because they were not all open.
I was able to get the item returned in less than 30 seconds the entire trip was under a 10 minutes wait which most of the waiting was for a flat cart to become available for bringing the items inside which weighs 136lbs
And dynamic pricing is already happening. Items online are up to a dollar cheaper than they are in the stores, on a Sunday evening, when the store is packed with parents with children who don't have time to check the prices. If you ask the manager, he will tell you to call the delivery manager, who will tell you to call the 1800 number so you can speak to someone in Bangalore. Anyway, Walmart is doing things like this to shift more and more to online delivery shopping, where you pay for the privilege to spend your money and the delivery driver with your tips, and cashiers, stockers, and deli managers can be replaced by a skeleton crew of pickers and robots like an Amazon...read full review
