For years I've searched for a go-to massage therapist, trying a wide range of local options through friends recommendations or whatever special deal I could find. Thankfully I came across Lauren at Ancient Zen, formally known as Zenful Living, and i have officially found someone that reads my body better than I can. From constant trigger point problems to the simple want for relaxation, I know I can turn to Lauren to alleviate any range of needs. Her studio is an upstairs room of a building in Middletown. Lauren was amazing! I went in with back pain and Lauren knew exactly how to help me. After the massage I felt so much better. It's exactly what I needed. Lauren also showed me some exercises/stretches I can do at home that will help me. I would recommend Zenful Living to anyone!

I have trusted Lauren for years now for massage, working through such challenging variables as TMJ, post-workout injuries and stress (weight training specifically), and sometimes just general exhaustion. I can confidently say that each and every time I leave I feel like a million bucks. Not only is she gifted in her art, she's friendly, reasonable, and worth every penny. Highly recommended.
