    Nobody answers phone calls at All !! I know they are busy at times,but I've been in there before while phones rings and employees standing around.

    As a gas perm contact wearer, I have trusted Dr. Houston and everyone at VisionFirst Hillview for my vision care for years. They are always so kind, friendly, and super efficient. I seldom have to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen. When I developed a pretty nasty sty overnight, they were, thankfully, able to get me in the next morning. I highly recommend this VisionFirst location!

    Great place people was nice and friendly highly recommend definitely will be giving them service every time and they called and emailed me to inform me about the frames was wrong and gave me the opportunity to send them back but I like how they looked so all in all great service and experience

    Let me start this review by saying it is difficult for me to find frames that I like, that also look good on my face. I had shopped around many stores before finding two sets of frames that I really liked, at Walmart, only to learn that they didn't have an optometrist in-house. This led me to scheduling an appointment with Vision First.

    While performing my eye exam, Vision First had recommended a specific lens, called an Eyezen lens. This lens would help me see things up close while allowing me to save a little money, before having to use a progressive lens in the future. However, I didn't take their advice.

    I went back to Walmart with my prescription and ordered two sets of glasses. One set had many upgrades to the lenses, costing over $500, and the other set were super basic, serving as a backup pair.

    About a year after purchasing my glasses, I had become increasingly frustrated when trying to see things up close and the Eyezen lens would have helped me in this area. I went back to Vision First and had another eye exam performed. I decided to have Vision First install Eyezen lenses into my expensive set of glasses from Walmart.

    These new lenses that were going to be installed into my old frames were going to cost about $550. That night I realized my new prescription had barely changed from the previous prescription. It wasn't a good idea to exchange $500 old lenses for $550 new lenses, and then install them into the used older frames.

    I called Vision First the next day and asked them if I had time to switch out the frames, they were making the new lenses for. This way I would have a really nice set of back up glasses and new Eyezen lenses in the previous back up frames that I had barely worn. I spoke to Karen and explained the situation. She pulled my order and ask me to bring the other frames to the store as soon as possible.

    When I arrived at Vision First, Karen was very understanding about me wanting to save the expensive glasses as a backup pair, instead of wasting all that money that I had previously spent on them. She quickly measured the frames to see if the Eyezen lenses would fit. She had everything taken care of in less than 10 minutes and she couldn't have been any nicer about the whole situation. Not only did Karen offer excellent customer service, she is also extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of eyewear.

    Chris Hogan was the doctor that performed my eye exam and it was the best experience I have encountered in 20 years of having to wear glasses. I felt like I was a member of his family, who he was helping to see better. He answered complex questions about my vision, while never making me feel rushed. I will request Dr. Hogan to perform my future eye exams.

    My glasses were ready to be picked up before the time that had been estimated. I am really happy with my new lenses and my overall experience with Vision First.

    I can't say with certainty where my future frames will be purchased, but I will only have eye exams and purchase lenses from Vision First, from this point forward.
