Melody W. Townsend is the founding principal of Townsend Financial Planning, LLC, an independent financial planning and investment management firm headquartered in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, with additional offices in Lexington and Louisville. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, she takes the fiduciary oath seriously—meaning to act in the best interest of the client at all times. Melody has been quoted in national publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Advisor Magazine and USA Today. She also enjoys her current public service role as Montgomery County Commissioner. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children on their family farm.
