In October, our husband, father and grandfather, died after a relatively short illness. We initially thought we would have a service at the Parklands and would not have a need for a funeral director.. But as we got into the planning of the service, it became very apparent that we did need help. We reached out to Mike Ratterman and Brian Shrek to help us plan the celebration of life that was perfect for us. They provided us the cremation services that we chose, and it was handled with such grace and compassion . Then with their guidance and creativity the service we had was perfect. They helped us with a video, with music, with memorabilia and just pulling the whole thing off. Although they stayed primarily in the background they were critical in helping us organize and implement this service. Ratterman Funeral Home exceeded all expectations my family had regarding funeral services. Joe Billé was fantastic from start to finish. Having a death in the family is extremely tough to deal with but Joe made it one of the most comfortable experiences. He was available via text when I needed him and promptly responded.
