Nugent Sand Company provides a range of products, including crushed stone, gravel, compost, and mulch, at competitive prices. With fast delivery and efficient service, customers have reported positive experiences, such as quick turnaround times and helpful drivers. The company's products are often described as being of good quality, with high organic matter in the compost and dark, rich color. However, some customers have reported discrepancies between the products received and those advertised, such as the "processed top soil" which was actually more like regular dirt. Additionally, issues with quantity have been reported, with one customer receiving less mulch than paid for. Despite some inconsistencies, many customers return to Nugent Sand Company for their landscaping needs due to their affordability and generally good service.
Called and asked about some good quality, no rock sand for my kids sand box. Couldn't have asked for better customer service. I gave the measurements and was told I would need one scoop of mortar sand. I drove up and got a scoop no problem and it fit perfectly in the sandbox. No rocks at all and the sand is so smooth and good for castles. Thank you!!!
We ordered sand from another company, we needed it because we are having a pool installed. While the installers were there, they discovered large rocks and other debris in our original sand order. We called Nugent hoping for an expedited/emergency delivery, they quoted us one hour. Our order arrived in less than 45 minutes. We will always be recommending Nugent, and our installers even said they will start recommending Nugent. Quick, professional, and fast. Thank you!
Had a great experience working with Nugent. I called on a Monday, looking for two tons of crushed stone to be delivered on Saturday morning. The driver arrived, easily handled my narrow Victorian-era street parking, had the stone dumped in moments, and was back on his way. As for the price, it sure blows any home repair or garden store out of the water; those two tons cost me about $150. Will definitely use them again for any future projects like this.
