I’ve been coming here for three years and I’ve always left a tip. When I came in yesterday, before they were done with my pedicure the woman asked if I was leaving a tip. She then told me the ATM was in the corner. She then stood and watched my partner and I as our nails dried from the other side of the room. When I gave her a $20 and asked her to break it she kept trying to keep it. I told her no, $12. She then kept repeating a higher number to me to which I kept correcting her. I will not be back. This was absurd.
My friends and I decided to get our nails did on Sunday, and one of the girls suggested Majestic Nails. It's easy to find and they were able to see all of us right away. Half of the shop is for manicures and the other half is full of massage chairs and pedicure tubs. If I didn't hate the thought of someone touching my feet I would have been very tempted! For the nails, you can choose between polish, gel and dip (or acrylics of course). They have a ton of gel colors and I'd never tried gel before, so that's what I got. My lady was very attentive and trimmed up my cuticles before we got to the color. Took her awhile because it has been a long long time since I last had my nails done. She shaped up my nails then started putting on the bottom coat and two coats of color with the UV curing right after. Then top coat, cuticle oil, and a nice hand massage with some lotion. My nails look as pretty and shiny as candy!
I normally don’t write reviews but I am a little disappointed with the service i received. I’ll just start with the fact that I came in for a soak off and he started PRYING THE ACRYLIC OFF WITH A NAIL TIP??. Anyways I asked for a simple square orange french tip ( like the pic ) and what I got looked nowhere near what I showed him. My cuticles are swollen and were bleeding from him cutting them when using the drill. He didn’t ask what base color he wanted me to use so he used clear?? The base color in the reference is clearly not clear. The shape is also nowhere near the pic.
