I stay here often and has somewhat become a home away from home the past year.
The hotel is in a great location. The staff all over the hotel are great.
The bar is well stocked with bartenders who know how to make drinks and are very knowledgeable with all of the Bourbons available. Shout out to Lyndsey, Kayla ( sorry if I spelled wrong ) Alex and David at Charr’d bar.
Front desk staff are amazing, very friendly and will go out of there way to make sure you’re satisfied. Corey, Cori and Sybil are always a pleasure to talk to. The entire front desk staff is welcoming and will make sure your check-in is smooth and will get you squared away quickly.
Concierge Lounge is really nice, located on the 10 floor with a amazing view of Louisville metro. It’s a great, quiet place to relax to work or just have a snack during your stay.
Hotel has plenty of space for events, ( evident during our stays ) large parking lot and walkable to family fun center and dining options.

During a recent business conference, the staff efficiently managed check-in for over 80 attendees, providing complimentary waters and allowing some groups to use the staff elevator to reduce congestion. The rooms are clean, spacious, and kept in good condition. The hotel's location provides access to many nearby dining options. The hotel also features a meeting room with excellent audio visual support, making it a great choice for business events. The lounge/bar has friendly staff, a sizable bourbon selection, and a tasty menu, including the popular Devilish Eggs and smoked wings. While the pool area has been disappointing due to its deteriorating condition and the hot tub being closed, overall, guests highly recommend Louisville Marriott East for both business and leisure stays. The staff’s pride and ownership shine through, and despite some rooms feeling a bit dated, they remain very clean and well-maintained.

We took a family trip and originally booked a different hotel and their pool was closed which was a real bummer for my kids, but I was able to get refunded back and immediately was able to get a room booked with the Marriott and they have a pool, which was great for the kids. The management team was more than helpful and made our experience there wonderful. The kids had a blast we had a blast room service was awesome. They attended to every need that we had definitely recommend staying here as well as the breakfast is awesome. Thank you to Matt and the management team.
