Louisville Marriott East is a well-maintained hotel offering a beautiful atmosphere and comfortable accommodations. Guests appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. During a recent business conference, the staff efficiently managed check-in for over 80 attendees, providing complimentary waters and allowing some groups to use the staff elevator to reduce congestion. The rooms are clean, spacious, and kept in good condition. The hotel's location provides access to many nearby dining options. The hotel also features a meeting room with excellent audio visual support, making it a great choice for business events. The lounge/bar has friendly staff, a sizable bourbon selection, and a tasty menu, including the popular Devilish Eggs and smoked wings. While the pool area has been disappointing due to its deteriorating condition and the hot tub being closed, overall, guests highly recommend Louisville Marriott East for both business and leisure stays. The staff’s pride and ownership shine through, and despite some rooms feeling a bit dated, they remain very clean and well-maintained.

Marriott is always our first choice when traveling anywhere in the world. However, our stay last weekend at the Marriott East in Louisville KY was very disappointing. The entire hotel is in need of a remodeling. Our room had carpets that were buckled from over use, old worn furniture, the bathrooms are small and dated, the make up mirror did not work and was badly rusted and the door locks were even falling off. Upon our first full day our room was not cleaned and after notifying the front desk it took several phone calls just to get clean towels. Lastly we could not even get one bottle of drinking water ....we had to buy bottled water which was $7 a bottle. I shared...read full review
