I purchased tickets for the Nutcracker in September, my family made early travel plans and my granddaughters had new dresses to wear to the December 23rd matinee performance. They cancelled it for no good reason. The weather was cold but the storm had moved through the day before and the roads were fine. Now I’m trying to get my money back with no success. It’s no way to run a business.

Disgusted by this ballet’s performance of Sleeping Beauty. A “modernized” version of a timeless classic, translates to ridiculous costumes and sexualization flaunted on stage. I took my 3 young daughters and aunt to see this during a STUDENT MATINEE! Shortly after it began I knew right away this was not a classic ballet of Sleeping Beauty. I was willing to be tolerant of this reimagined ballet… But when the men in leather straps for tops came out on stage and stripped the MC down to his sparkly speedo I quickly ushered my family OUT!!Sadly the hundreds of public school kids had to be subjected to the remainder of the performance.Extremely disappointed in the Louisville...read full review

Awful, just truly awful the way this place is run and the choices made for the shows that I have seen there. Keep your dancers away. Actively doing things to harm their staff and increase risk of injuries. Inhumane conditions that I would only expect to see in a coal mine back in 1883. Why is Robert still there?
