No complaints! Ya'll have been great. The beat part I liked was the weekly Wednesday meeting where the A team came to my room including the doctor, his assistant, nursing etc to keep me informed. Every hospital should have weekly meetings with the patients. The staff here is great but Maggie,RN and Evelyn have a special place in my heart. They treated me like their sister. Everyone should be like these two. I have been very satisfied with my stay at Kindred.
3 stars out of 5. started out really rough but I have made great progress now I am going home today. The dialysis team is great and I really enjoy lots of the staff. They could use more people to help respond faster. Melody in the Cafe is wonderful, Dr. Rice and the cleaning lady are really nice. Food was good, my room stayed clean and I loved the 5TH floor.
at first I was skeptical of this place because of the Google reviews. but from our experience, I can say, my son was lucky to have had the RN's, CNA's, RT's, OT's and PT's he had. (well, except for one or two 😔) He's care team was amazing. always going above and beyond for my son. They took the time to get to know him and the family while doing their work. Arlene, one of his nurses even brought her iPad for him so he won't be bored at night when family wasn't around. she was always so attentive to him. one of the things I think Kindred hospital needs to improve is their case management. even though they are nice people. it was always hard to get a hold of them or for them to call or send an email back. he went through 3 different case managers while in the facility. Another thing is that they seemed to be under staff quit often. My family and I from time to time used to clean him up when he had a BM because of under staff and we were not going to let him sit on his poop for a long time. shout-out to Arlene - RN Alyssa - RN Jany - RN Jack - rehab Bridget - OT Amy - PT Ali - wound care thank you for treating him like family. sorry if I didn't mention you but please know that you are appreciated deeply. thank you
