I took a photo to Sherry of a kind of complicated semi-formal dress (w/ sheer skirt) that I wanted to see if I could add a lining to. I showed it to 4 different tailors to see if it could even be done. Sherry seemed most trustworthy w/ a project. She took time to actually look at it, actively listened & asked questions. She measured me, showed me exactly what material and how much to order for the lining (which, another tailor told me I would need to get my own material too but didn’t tell me at all *what to get). ***Sherry quoted me considerably less than *all the other tailors.*** I would have even paid the higher prices but what sold me was the peace of mind I got… read full review
They are amazing!!!!! I wish I had gotten my first set of alterations there. Brides listen to me when I say don’t pay those expensive crazy people at the bridal stores, take it to sherry’s! Trying to convince her to come to the wedding they are so awesome. 10/10
I’ve trusted Sherry with my garments for 10+ years and would estimate ~10 items per year. As a menswear nerd I tend to buy quality new or vintage stuff that I want to be able to trust with good hands. Sherry and her team have always done top notch work for me. When other craftspeople see alterations she and her team have made they are complimentary of the work (keeping an original hem on jeans, adjusting a waistband, etc.). She will continue to refine until you are happy with the end result.
