About Hwang's Martial Arts
Hwang's Martial Arts is a welcoming and supportive martial arts school known for its strong sense of community. Many students have appreciated the discipline and accountability they gained during their training, with some even crediting the school for shaping their character. The school is open to non-Hwang's Martial Arts students, fostering an inclusive environment. New students feel excited and valued, with opportunities to retain their belt levels from previous schools. Parents have noted their children’s growing confidence and enjoyment in earning belts, along with the safe and friendly atmosphere. The summer camp has been a highlight for many families since late 2021, further enhancing the positive experience at Hwang's Martial Arts.
I received my blackbelt back in 2009! The amount of discipline and accountability helped me shaped who I am today. I hope to return to continue my training 🙏
GM Hwang, his whole family, and his students have ALWAYS been welcoming to non-Hwang's Martial Arts martial artists. I first met GM Hwang in 1990, having been in the area of his school while at a local MEPS station, and he allowed me to train with him for those three days. Then years latter, he was hosting the ITF DPRK team, which is a showcase of his willingness to host others, and now for the last few years, he has been so welcoming for our newest Kentucky Dojang!
The best place for you and your family to Learn respect, work out, and have fun
