Hair by Sam is everything I would ask for in a barbershop and beyond. Easy to make appointments, easy to contact to make changes. Jason (who is the current owner) is not only skilled at cutting men’s hair, he is also blessed with incredible memory and will remember every single detail of your conversation. He treats you like a friend and will make accommodations if he can. However, you gotta show up promptly at his place because he is usually quite fully booked. I would highly highly recommend Jason’s Hair by Sam.

Hair by Sam is a one chair barber shop that is on Preston Hwy just a few minutes from the airport and the Kentucky Expo Center. It is only one chair and isn't a fancy place by any means but the place is clean, has a couple of friendly barbers, and gets you a cool haircut. Most barber shops are closed on Sunday and those couple that are open in town close extremely early in the day. I happened to be driving near this place and called up around 3pm on a Sunday and was told that they could squeeze me in right way and that they were open until 5pm.
