We had a wonderful experience this afternoon at Goldenrod Barbershop. Our son is neurodivergent and absolutely is terrified of getting haircuts. This place came recommended for sensory haircuts. We are so thankful for the recommendation. Our son absolutely loved hanging with Sydney and Kegan. He even got to play the music he wanted and they were so patient with a zero free judgement zone. My son said his hair was perfect and he wanted to come back. Mind you, we have not been to a professional spot since he was a toddler, and he is 9 now. I can’t tell you how thankful we are for them. Huge victory today and they played a pivotal role when their welcoming arms.

So glad we found this place. Our toddler hates haircuts and hasn’t had the best experience with them but Kegan was so wonderful with him. The shop was clean, he was very friendly and patient and spoke highly of his coworker. I had called him to talk about his sensory cuts and called at a busy time he asked if it was okay to call back and took the time to call back and talk with us. We will definitely be back thank you so much!
