About First Lady Nail

First Lady Nail is a nail salon that has received mixed reviews from its customers. While some customers have had a positive experience, describing it as a "hidden gem" with great quality, friendly service, and reasonable prices, others have been disappointed with the service they received. One customer reported issues such as nail glue stuck to their skin, chunks of built-up glue or acrylic under their nail bed, and one of their nails being put on diagonally. The customer also mentioned that the staff member they spoke to about these concerns seemed annoyed and rolled their eyes at them. On the other hand, another customer who has been a customer for almost 15 years has consistently received good and courteous service. They also praised the work of a specific staff member, Tina, who is described as quick, skilled at nail art, and having a great personality. A third customer had a mixed experience, noting that the salon does not have a consistent selection of dip and acrylic polishes, and that the gel top coat applied to their nails started peeling within a couple of days. They also expressed concern about the salon sanding their natural nails too much during the priming process. Overall, the reviews suggest that First Lady Nail is a mixed bag, with both positive and negative experiences reported by customers. The salon's service and quality seem to vary, and it may be worth trying them out, but they may not be the first choice for everyone.

I wanted to like this salon but the service was not it today. First I want to say, I understand people have off days however this feels like a joke. There’s literal nail glue stuck to my skin right now. There’s chunks of built up glue or could be acrylic under my nail bed. My cuticles weren’t touched or cut and one of my nails was put on diagonal. My nails look so janky. :( And, everytime I tried to kindly bring these concerns to the lady’s attention, she would get annoyed and roll her eyes at me. I’m very disappointed with my service today, and I don’t ever write reviews.

6/24/22; It's a walk-in only salon (they will accommodate appointments on Monday only), no prices are posted nor discussed, could have asked but was presuming being comparable to most other shops. (And it was, $65 for both)
Was told to sign in, pick a color and take a seat in a pedicure chair. I did advise I wanted dip or gel on my nails and acrylic pedicure.
They do NOT have the sets of dip / acrylic polishes As you can see in photos they do not match. They picked dip to match my acrylic choice.
Mimi did a nice job on a pedicure, also did well on my nails with exceptions being it does not match, and by evening the top coat was peeling from both my thumbs and...read full review
