Headline: Poor Workmanship and Complete Lack of Accountability
I am very disappointed with the quality of construction and customer service from Ball Homes. The deck built at my home (10x14 ft.) has developed a noticeable bend in the middle because it was constructed without a center support beam.
This is not a normal wear-and-tear issue — it is a basic structural design flaw. Every other deck of the same size in my neighborhood includes a center beam, and none of them have this issue. When I raised the issue, the company dismissed it, claiming it was “out of warranty,” rather than taking responsibility for their mistake.
Disappointed with Warranty Handling Despite a Valid Plumbing Issue
I purchased a Ball Homes property in less than two years ago and recently experienced a sudden plumbing leak between floors. Ball Homes did send a plumber, who confirmed the leak was due to a pipe defect — which was repaired under the 2-year warranty.
However, the drywall damage caused directly by the leak was not covered, even though neighbors with the same issue were reportedly granted full coverage, including drywall repairs. I raised this concern multiple times and respectfully escalated it, but my request was ultimately denied without further review.
HORRIBLE customer service, DON'T BUY A BALL HOME!! Called to complain about dust control regarding new phase in our neighborhood. (Parkview Mt Washington). Asked why they don't have a watertruck for dust control, was told by the customer service rep what bo you want me to do about it . Service rep said too bad, this is what you get living in a construction zone. I told her there were regulations they needed to follow. She could have cared less. I contacted Air Pollution Control District and filed a complaint. Hopefully prospective byers will read these posts and consider some other builder to buy from
