    I had what turned out to be detached retinas in both of my eyes. I called this office and they let me come in late and stayed with me late to help me connect with doctors in Lexington for emergency surgery after diagnosing the severity of my issues. No one ever wants to hear that they have an emergency on their hands, but Dr. Ball and her office were kind, compassionate, thorough, and professional. They helped me out in a frightening time for me. Dr. Ball doesn’t know me personally, but she checked on me several times post op to see how I was doing and let me know her office was praying for me.     I was in there several months ago at the push of my husband. I was only wearing readers at the time and it was frustrating to keep putting them on then taking them off. The exam was great. She explained things very well and showed me some issues behind my eyes. So I got glasses with the transition lenses since I was outside a lot. I was expecting a bifocal but picked up some kind of funky lense glasses. I feel going up the stairs a couple times and while clearing the winter garden I fell. I was done with them.
