“I seldom write reviews and this is a long one but I have to submit it to show my appreciation for Pilar.<br>I had a big bump on my nose (what I thought was a zit) but it would bleed when I tried to open it. It was big, red, and would not heal. I could not even cover it with makeup. It just made it stand out more.<br>Fearing it could be cancerous I went to the dermatologist. They said it was not cancerous, but something called a fibrous papule. There were ways to treat it but it would definitely come back.<br>I was horrified and felt hideous. I work as a cashier so I was embarrassed all the time. Vain, maybe, but it brought up so many bad memories of younger years when I was made fun of because of my looks.<br>When I asked if it could be treated today they said no because I had Medicare and it was considered cosmetic, Medicare would not cover it. I would need to make another appointment with their “cosmetic department”. It had taken 3 months to get this appointment and I was leaving looking the same as I came in. I felt so let down and depressed. They asked if I wanted to set up an appointment with their cosmetic department and I said no, I knew someone I wanted to consult with first.<br>Made an appointment with Pilar. Told her my diagnosis. Also told her how much anxiety I had and how horrified I felt. She said she could take care of it right then. I said well they told me it would keep coming back. She said you dont need to worry or stress, so it comes back, we will remove it again..<br>She had an immediate solution and made it sound so simple!<br>I actually cried, I was so happy.<br>The area has healed beautifully and my skin looks completely clear and smooth again. You would never know it was there.<br>For Pilar to empathize and understand how I felt meant everything to me.<br>From now on I will go to Pilar about anything I’m concerned about and she will send me to the dermatologist if it is required.<br>All of this to say …If you have a cosmetic concern you thought you just had to live with, go see Pilar!!”
